NOTICE OF RIGHT TO CANCEL: You may cancel this transaction, without penalty or obligation, within three (3) business days from the date of this contract. See the Right to Cancel section below.
Contractor: Fortress Siding, LLC d/b/a GutterGo, Mountville, PA. 717-990-7708 · Hello@Gutter-Go.com. The scope, price, install date, and property address are stated on the first page of each signed contract.
Scope of Services
GutterGo provides seamless aluminum gutter installation and related services. The scope of work for this project is limited to what is expressly itemized in the attached quote: the gutter profile selected (5K with 2x3 downspouts, or 6K with 3x4 downspouts), the linear footage of gutter and downspout stated, gutter covers where selected, hidden hangers, corners and end caps, and removal and haul-away of your existing gutters. Fascia, soffit, roofing, siding, and any other trade are not included unless separately quoted and accepted in writing.
Measurement & Price Confirmation
Your price is calculated from an aerial measurement of your home's roofline. We re-check that measurement the evening before your install, and the crew confirms it on site before any work begins. Your quoted price holds as long as the confirmed footage is within 10 percent or 20 feet of the measured footage, whichever is smaller. If the confirmed footage falls outside that band, GutterGo will send you a corrected price by text before work begins. You may accept the corrected price by signing a change order, or decline it and receive a full refund of your deposit. You are never obligated to proceed at a price based on a measurement that turned out to be wrong.
Payment Schedule
This project is subject to the following payment schedule: • $249 deposit at booking, which reserves your install date and holds your quoted price. • The balance upon completion, including any signed change orders. At booking you authorize GutterGo to save your payment card. When the crew marks your job complete, you will receive a link by text to review the finished work and pay the balance by bank transfer or card. If the balance has not been paid within seven (7) days of completion, you authorize GutterGo to charge the balance to the card on file. All balances not paid in full after fifteen (15) days are subject to a late charge at the maximum rate permitted by Pennsylvania law. GutterGo reserves the right to reject this contract within fifteen (15) business days and return all deposits due to an over/under bid or non-buildable project prior to work beginning.
Right to Cancel
As a Property Owner in Pennsylvania, you have the right to cancel this transaction within three (3) business days from the contract date, for any reason. You may cancel by any means, including email, phone, text, or mail. Emailing Hello@Gutter-Go.com or calling 717-990-7708 is fastest, and we will confirm your cancellation in writing. No particular form or wording is required. If cancellation is requested within the three (3) business day rescission period, all monies deposited with GutterGo will be refunded in full within ten (10) business days. If you cancel after the three (3) business day rescission period has expired, including cancelling on the day of install, declining to allow the crew to proceed, or leaving the exterior of the home inaccessible at the scheduled time (you do not need to be present, only to leave the roofline reachable), your $249 deposit is retained by GutterGo to cover the crew's dispatch cost. Regardless of timing, your deposit is refunded in full if GutterGo cancels the job, if the confirmed footage falls outside the tolerance band and you decline the corrected price, or if a site condition that could not be seen from the air prevents the installation.
Changes to Scope
Any change to the information stated in this agreement must be communicated to GutterGo right away. Should any change to the scope or price occur, a signed change order will be composed and approved by all parties. GutterGo reserves the right to issue a Stop Work order if a required change order is not accepted.
Possible Change Orders
Fascia and sub-fascia condition. Gutters are fastened to your fascia board. If the crew finds the fascia rotted, missing, or unable to hold a fastener, the affected length must be repaired or replaced before gutters can be hung. Fascia repair is not included in this contract and will be priced on a signed change order before proceeding. You may decline the change order and receive a full refund of your deposit. Roofline conditions. Drip edge, roof edge, or structural conditions that prevent a proper gutter installation will be described to you with photos and priced on a signed change order. Additional footage. Footage beyond the tolerance band described under Measurement & Price Confirmation is priced at the published per-foot rate on a signed change order.
Insurance
GutterGo agrees to maintain, for the duration of this project, liability insurance covering personal injury in an amount not less than $50,000 and property damage in an amount not less than $50,000, as required by Pennsylvania law. Coverage actually carried at the time of signing: commercial general liability of $1,000,000 each occurrence and $1,000,000 general aggregate, through Next Insurance US Company, policy no. NXTWVLJH3D-01-GL. A current certificate of insurance is available on request. If this coverage changes, GutterGo will notify you in writing within ten (10) days.
Project Schedule
After booking, your assigned installer proposes an install date and you confirm it from your job page or by text; you may ask for a different date and the installer confirms that instead. Work is scheduled to begin within thirty (30) days of the contract date, or on the confirmed date if later. Most gutter installations are completed in a single working day, weather permitting, so the approximate starting and completion date for your project is the confirmed install date. As stated under Delays, weather and material availability can affect this date. If the date must move, GutterGo will offer you the next available dates by text and you may reschedule without charge.
Who Performs the Work
GutterGo coordinates your project and assigns a vetted, insured local gutter installer to perform the installation. At the time this contract is executed, no subcontractor has yet been assigned to this project, so none is known to be named here. Before work begins, GutterGo will provide you with a written addendum naming the assigned installer, including their business name, street address, and telephone number. GutterGo remains the contracting party and is responsible to you for the work regardless of who performs it. GutterGo may substitute a different qualified installer if the assigned installer becomes unavailable; this does not change your price, your scope, or any of your rights under this contract.
Delays
By accepting this agreement, Property Owner(s) acknowledge that circumstances such as weather, production delays, and material availability are beyond our control and may affect the delivery of our services.
Lead-Safe Renovation (Pre-1978 Properties)
Removing old gutters can disturb painted fascia. On properties built before 1978, work is performed in accordance with the EPA Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule, and Property Owner(s) acknowledge receipt of the EPA pamphlet "Renovate Right" prior to commencement of work. Lead-safe work practices are a work-practice standard and are not a lead abatement, inspection, risk assessment, or clearance service. GutterGo does not perform lead abatement and makes no representation that the property is or will be free of lead-based paint or lead hazards.
Property Protection & Owner Responsibilities
Access. Property Owner(s) are responsible for providing safe, clear access to the roofline, including moving vehicles, grills, planters, and furniture away from the house on install day. GutterGo is not liable for incidental damage to lawns, plantings, or hardscape resulting from reasonable and necessary ladder and equipment placement. Existing gutters. Your existing gutters and downspouts are removed and hauled away as part of this contract and become the property of GutterGo upon removal. Underground drains. Where downspouts connect to underground drain lines, GutterGo will reconnect to the existing line where practical. GutterGo does not inspect, clear, or repair underground drainage and makes no representation about its condition. Landscaping and paint. Minor scuffing of fascia paint or siding adjacent to the gutter line can occur during removal of old fasteners and is not the responsibility of GutterGo to repair.
Materials
Seamless gutters are formed on site from aluminum coil in the color you selected at booking. Property Owner(s) are not responsible for material shortages and have no claim to material surpluses or scrap, which remain the property of GutterGo and its installer.
Permits
Gutter replacement does not ordinarily require a building permit in Pennsylvania municipalities. Should your municipality require one, GutterGo will obtain it and the permit fee will be added to the final invoice at cost. Property Owner(s) are responsible for obtaining any required HOA, condominium association, or historic district approval prior to commencement of work, including approval of the gutter color selected.
GutterGo Workmanship Guarantee
GutterGo guarantees its installation workmanship for 3 (three) years from the date of completion. This guarantee covers defects in installation workmanship, including leaking seams and corners, loose or detached hangers, improper pitch causing standing water, and detached downspouts. It does not cover the products themselves, which are warranted by their manufacturers. This guarantee does not apply to: damage from wind, hail, storm, fire, flood, falling trees or limbs, ice dams, or other acts of God; damage from ladders, pressure washing, or other contact by the Property Owner(s) or any third party; clogging, overflow, or damage caused by leaves and debris where gutter covers were not installed; failure of the fascia or structure the gutters are fastened to; alteration or repair of the installed work by anyone other than GutterGo; and any project on which payment has not been made in full. Warranty service requires written notice to GutterGo at the email address above. GutterGo's obligation under this guarantee is limited, at its option, to repair or replacement of the defective workmanship, and does not extend to consequential or incidental damages.
Manufacturer Warranties
Any warranty for material used during the project, including the finish on the aluminum coil and gutter covers, is provided by the material manufacturer. GutterGo will provide manufacturer warranty documentation upon request and will assist in submitting warranty claims, but makes no guarantee that any manufacturer claim will be approved or fulfilled within any particular timeframe.
Payment Methods
GutterGo accepts credit and debit cards and ACH bank transfer through the payment link provided at completion.
General
Ownership and authority. This agreement, together with the attached scope and pricing, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior discussions, representations, and understandings, whether oral or written.
