Questions about downspouts
How many downspouts do I need?
At least one per eave run, plus one more for every 40 feet of run. The quote suggests a count from your roofline and lets you change it before you book.
Can you tie into my underground drains?
If there is an existing drain at the downspout location, the crew reconnects to it. We do not dig, clear, or replace underground lines.
Why 3x4 downspouts on 6K gutters?
A six inch gutter carries about 40 percent more water than a five inch. A 3x4 downspout drains it fast enough that the gutter does not overflow in a hard rain.
